Do I need to be certified to join this trip?

Yes. Fun Diving is available only to certified divers holding an Open Water certification or higher from a recognized training agency such as PADI, SSI, SDI, CMAS, or NAUI. If you have never dived before, we recommend our Discover Scuba Diving experience instead, which is specifically designed for beginners.

Which dive sites will we visit?

Dive sites are selected daily based on weather, sea conditions, and diver experience. Popular locations include Sail Rock, Koh Ma, and several local reefs around Koh Phangan. Our instructors always choose the safest and most enjoyable sites for the day's conditions.

Is diving equipment included?

Most packages include tanks and weights. Full diving equipment may be included or rented separately depending on the package you choose. If you have your own equipment, you're welcome to bring it.

Can I dive at Sail Rock?

Yes. Sail Rock is one of the Gulf of Thailand's most famous dive sites and is available on selected Fun Diving trips. It's known for excellent visibility, abundant marine life, and the chance to see larger pelagic fish, including whale sharks during the appropriate season.

How many dives are included?

Our standard Fun Diving trip includes two guided dives. Some special trips may include additional dives or optional upgrades, depending on the destination and schedule.

Is this suitable for newly certified divers?

Absolutely. Newly certified Open Water divers are welcome to join. Our experienced dive professionals will select suitable dive sites and provide guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience while helping you build confidence underwater.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety always comes first. If sea conditions are unsuitable, we may change the dive site, postpone the departure, or reschedule your trip. Our team monitors weather forecasts daily and will contact you if any changes are necessary.

Should I bring my certification card?

Yes. Please bring your physical certification card or a digital version from your training agency. This allows the dive center to verify your certification before the trip begins.

Can I fly after diving?

No. For your safety, we recommend waiting at least 18–24 hours after your final dive before flying. This helps reduce the risk of decompression sickness and follows internationally recognized diving safety guidelines.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Fun Diving trips have limited spaces, especially during the high season and for Sail Rock departures. Booking in advance ensures availability and allows us to prepare the appropriate equipment and dive groups for your certification level.
